This event is aimed to raise awareness to the public on Malay traditional cooking as well as the ingredients used for cooking. Examples of ingredients and equipment used to prepare Malay dishes will be displayed around the restaurant for participants to further understand the history of Malay cuisine. Participants will be given the opportunity to try Mamanda’s traditional signature platter, Nasi Ambeng. Nasi Ambeng is traditionally served during festivities and enjoyed together by four to five people. This is to create respect and bonding within the community.
